A Dose Of Hope
Got Weeds? Sow Seeds!
My Grandpa had a problem with weeds in his fields. His solution? He planted alfalfa. He sowed seeds. Those seeds grew into plants that crowded out the weeds.
Jesus told a parable about weeds and how we are supposed to handle them: weeds of conflict, weeds of persecution, weeds of doubt, weeds of depression. Although at first it appears counter-intuitive He said, “Don’t weed! You might accidentally pull out the wheat in the process.” He added that weeding will happen — but it’s not your role or mine!

So — let us sow!
Sow! Seeds of Love!
Sow! Seeds of Mercy!
Sow! Seeds of Faith!
Then, let us pray that God will help those seeds to grow and crowd out the fear, the discord, the bitterness. The more positive seeds we sow, the less weeds we will face.
So, go and SOW!
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9
