Love Strong. Believe Strong. Forgive Strong.
“Be joyful in hope, patient in suffering, faithful in prayer.” — Romans 12:12
You can go through your hard times crawling on your belly complaining. (People will love to be around you! I hope you hear the sarcasm). OR you can be joyful while hoping for the best!
You can be miserable in affliction. OR you can be patient during the pain, the loss, the disease, the disappointment. (Sometimes getting better is a matter of being a patient, maybe that’s why doctors call the people they’re treating “patients”?)
You can neglect your prayer life. When times are hard there’s a tendency to get mad at God and “make Him pay”, when you are hurting yourself not Him. OR you can be faithful in prayer – praying even when you don’t feel like it.
It’s your choice. Why not choose: To believe! To be joyful in hope! To be patient in affliction! To be faithful in prayer!
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for your Word which gives life abundantly! Today I ask you to increase my joy, my patience, and my faithfulness. Thank you! Amen.
